360°kids serves over 3,500 youth in every municipality of York Region through its comprehensive and essential programs and services. The mission is clear—to help youth overcome crisis and transition to a state of safety and stability. Together, their community of staff are committed to the provision of care for youth through a variety of unique programs: trauma-informed homelessness prevention and housing, alternative education (iGrad program), employment program streams, as well as health and wellbeing services.

Leading with these values, the organization is accepting nominations and applications for the role of Director of Finance and Administration—a position responsible for the management at 360°kids of day-to-day internal functions, comprised of finance, accounting, Information Technology and administrative infrastructure.
As a member of the Executive Management Team, the Director of Finance and Administration will assist the CEO in the creation of the financial strategy and operating plans. They will ensure operating budgets are created in accordance with the needs of 360°kids, providing comptroller (controlling) functions to make certain finances are managed according to legislation, policies, and procedures. The successful incumbent will monitor the program’s finances as well as the development and implementation of action plans, also supporting fundraising to improve financial performance. The Director of Finance and Administration will also be responsible for managing the organization’s administrative infrastructure including information technology, databases, and organizational assets.
The individual most likely to achieve success will be thoughtful, approachable, and results-driven, carrying out their work with precision and great care. Guided by equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) principles, the Director of Finance and Administration will help enhance a work culture that further fosters belonging for all social identities. The successful candidate will have post-secondary education in business accounting or a related field as well as a CPA designation. Additionally experience in the not-for-profit sector is an asset. They will bring proficiency in end-to-end accounting and payroll, and a track-record of motivating, coaching, mentoring, and empowering their staff. In addition to these abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where change is constant. Finally, the incumbent will bring a natural inclination towards analysis, critical thinking, and problem solving, all the while having high energy and embracing kinship with colleagues.
