Housing
The 13th Annual 360°Experience 2026 brought together 173 participants, corporate partners, volunteers, advocates, and youth voices for an event focused on raising awareness and support for youth experiencing homelessness across York Region. Through the Overnight Experience and Team Challenge, participants completed simulations highlighting barriers to safe housing, employment, education, food, mental health care, and other essential supports. Guests at the opening ceremony included Rhonda Leeson, Chair of the 360°kids Board; Deputy Chief Kevin McCloskey of York Regional Police; Ricardo Chan of Hyundai Canada; Clovis Grant, CEO of 360°kids; and youth speakers.
Throughout the evening, participants gained a deeper understanding of how quickly housing instability can affect every area of a young person’s life and why timely community support is essential. Together, participants raised more than $300,000 for 360°kids programs and services that help youth move from crisis toward stability and independence. The event demonstrated the power of bringing people together to listen, learn, and take action. Funds raised will support safe housing, food security, employment opportunities, educational assistance, mental health resources, and other vital services for youth across York Region.
The Overnight Experience
The Overnight Experience brought together 20 participants from diverse backgrounds, including representatives from schools and corporate partners such as Hyundai Canada and Richland Academy. Participants spent the night at various locations along Yonge Street, gaining a deeper understanding of the uncertainty and challenges faced by youth experiencing homelessness while raising awareness and funds to support 360°kids programs and services.

The Teams Challenge

The Community Safety Village was filled with energy as 12 teams came together for the Teams Challenge. With a strong sense of teamwork and determination, participants took part in interactive activities focused on housing, employment, education, health, and overall well-being.
The involvement of 360°kids youth and frontline staff added a powerful and meaningful perspective to the experience, offering firsthand insight into the challenges young people face and the progress they make. Through activities such as building a shelter, learning survival skills, and hearing youth impact stories, participants gained a deeper understanding of the realities of youth homelessness. The packed schedule created an engaging and immersive experience that strengthened empathy, awareness, and the shared commitment to supporting youth on their journey toward stability.
