YOUTHrive
The 360°kids YOUTHrive programs offer inclusive, enriched recreation and mentorship programming for the residents of (6) six housing co-operatives to support their social, emotional, physical and mental health needs. The program offers a safe place for youth to debrief about their day with staff, connect and develop relationships with other youth in their community. Through this program, children and youth will benefit from purposeful programming aimed to increase life skills, as well as, connect them and their families to resources within their communities.
Mentors in the program offer participants assistance with informal counselling, job search support, homework assistance, post-secondary school applications, financial aid support, and basic life skills, such as eating a balanced diet.
This is a free drop-in program offered 5 days per week and is geared to two different age groups.
The 360°kids YOUTHrive programs are offered to ages 7-12 and 13-17. In each community, there are programming calendars posted in the community rooms with dates, times and specific programming for the age specific group. Please note that times and days change accordingly.
These programs operate within six (6) social housing communities across York Region:

Counselling
Through our counselling program, young people identify and address barriers that are preventing or have prevented them from moving towards their goals. Due to our current wait list , we are prioritizing youth who may be at increased risk of housing instability, as well as youth who may face barriers accessing counselling supports elsewhere.
Queer Agenda
The Queer Agenda page highlights a youth-driven program dedicated to creating safe, inclusive spaces for 2SLGBTQ+ youth in York Region. It showcases how the program supports connection, self-expression, and community through workshops, events, and ongoing advocacy, while uplifting and celebrating diverse identities.

Youth engagement here means partnership, not just participation. We centre youth voices and lived experience to create programs together, grow leadership, and strengthen our community.
Home Base Youth Drop-In Centre
Every month, our Home Base Centres serve more than 150 youth each month who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, between the ages of 13 and 26.
York Region Pop-Up
Our goal is to offer young people who are at risk of substance abuse, alcoholism, or gang-related activities with crisis intervention and prevention support. We offer support services to Vaughan, Newmarket, Aurora, Richmond Hill and Markham.
Leadership Engagement Gang Intervention Team (L.E.G.I.T) Plus
L.E.G.I.T. Workers assist youth 18 – 30 yrs. who are involved in gangs, at-risk of gang involvement and/or have a history of involvement with the criminal justice system.
Leadership Engagement Gang Intervention Team (LEGIT)
L.E.G.I.T. Workers assist youth 12 – 20 yrs. who are involved in gangs, at-risk of gang involvement and/or have a history of involvement with the criminal justice system.
Provincial Youth Outreach Workers
Youth Outreach Workers assist youth 12-25 yrs. to access services that can be of support to any aspect of their lives.
Aftercare and Transitional Support
The Aftercare and Transitional Support Program assists youth transitioning out of the care of the Children’s Aid Society.
Addictions Recovery Program
ARC program is designed to support youth struggling with addiction and help them find their own journey of recovery. Through counselling, day programming and community, youth are offered an opportunity to learn, heal, develop and grow, while navigating addiction, trauma and mental health.
