Our Privacy Policy

To provide effective and high-quality service and to maintain appropriate accountability, 360°kids must collect, store and sometimes share personal information about clients. It is essential to be consistent and careful in managing what is written and said about a client and how 360°kids decides who can see or hear this information. 360°kids must protect and uphold these rights and act correctly in those circumstances where other considerations may override the right to confidentiality or privacy.

360°kids may override client confidentiality in the following or similar situations:

  • In situations where a client is actively suicidal or in 360°kids’ judgment, there is reason to believe a client will cause themselves serious harm or death.
  • Where there is reason to believe in 360°kids’ judgement that a serious threat exists by a client to a third party.
  • Upon disclosure by any party of physical and/or sexual abuse of a person under 16 years of age.
  • When ordered by a court of law

To protect the privacy and confidentiality of our clients, 360°kids ensures that they are well-informed about their rights and that 360°kids takes its responsibilities seriously. 360°kids will protect the privacy and confidentiality of personal information related to clients by ensuring that all Board members, management, staff, and volunteers meet the requirements of any relevant legislation for using and disclosing personal information.

To improve our website content, aggregate information is collected on what pages of the website are visited. We gather only personally identifiable data (such as names, addresses, zip/postal codes, email addresses, etc.) that the visitor voluntarily submits, and we use such data only to facilitate online donations. Website visitor information is used for internal 360ºkids’ purposes only and will not be sold to third parties. Email addresses of visitors and donors are never sold or exchanged.

If you supply us with your postal address online, you may receive periodic mailings from us with information on upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, requests for financial support or new products or services. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please contact us using the address or phone number provided above, or email us at info@360kids.ca.

You may at any time opt out of receiving information from 360ºkids regarding newsletters, donation requests, information on new events, campaigns, success stories, new programming available, etc. Please get in touch with our office and speak to the Fundraising Department or the Administration Department about removing your information from our database. We offer the options below to view, modify, delete, or view your records with us.
