The Youth Success Strategy program was referred a client who was a previous participant of Base4Success. When exploring the youth’s employment related interests, it became apparent that technical (IT) support was the direction he preferred to proceed.  I helped him figure out the necessary documentation to join an IT intern analyst program and together with Connections we ensured his eligibility by filling out paperwork, pulling together necessary ID, etc.

When the youth was accepted into the program, YSS supported him in securing a bed in Connections and out of the abandoned house he was currently staying at with friends. We were able to successfully provide stable housing during the program.

This particular youth gained skills to further enhance his professional development  expressed his gratitude for the unwavering guidance and support throughout his journey towards stability.
