As an organization, we recognize the importance of creating an equitable, diverse and inclusive workplace culture. In order to achieve this, we at 360°kids have implemented, a staff driven EDI committee. This committee is responsible for ensuring that all employees feel valued and respected, regardless of their background or identity.
The committee strives to foster dialogue that identifies areas for growth, opportunities for representation, and maintains a culture rooted in equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). Staff and youth at 360°kids collaborate to value the voices of individuals from all backgrounds, abilities, identities, and presentations. The EDI committee strives to inspire goals, foster allyship, and explore the significance of an equitable, diverse, and inclusive environment. Our organization believes that EDI goes beyond policies and services; it is a commitment to building a strong sense of community that consistently works towards the shared goal of inclusion. Through events, education, and recognition, our EDI committee continuously works with community members and youth to create a safe space for everyone.
